September Update
Dear Parent/Carer
Just a brief note to inform you of arrangements for the return to school next week.
School Dates and Arrangements for September
There is a phased return next week. Y6 pupils moving up to us have got a treasure trail arranged for Tuesday August 31st. Wednesday September 1st is a training day for staff. Thursday September 2nd is our Y7 induction day to help them settle into school and we welcome all pupils back on Friday September 3rd.
Uniform and PE Kit
Full uniform is to be worn and pupils will change into their PE kit when they have PE lessons. Students are not to arrive in school wearing PE kit.
Lateral Flow Tests
Welsh Government have advised that prior to returning to school, all secondary age pupils should undertake two LFT tests. These should be taken on Sunday August 29 and Wednesday September 1. Tests are available from local collection points if you do not have any left from last term. Your closest collection centre cab found using this link: COVID-19 Testing (flintshire.gov.uk)

Face Coverings
From September face coverings will still be needed on school transport and when moving around the site. They are not required when sitting in class.
We are awaiting updated guidance from the Government as to any other measures schools should have in place and once we receive this I will update you all again.
