Parent Bulletin No.30
Annwyl Parent/Carer
I hope you and your family are well. Some key information has gone out in the last few days in separate letters, so please check your inboxes if you have not read them. It is the Year 11 Record of Achievement ceremony on Friday of next week. Each student can invite two family members to join us for the occasion. Please arrive to be seated no later than 12:15. Parking will be limited so anyone who can arrive by foot, please do so.
Please check your child’s exam timetable and make sure they are clear on start times for exams. A few students have arrived late this week which may hinder their chances and disrupt the exam for others. Also, students must sit exams in full school uniform and bring the correct equipment.
We have a vacancy for a Parent Governor. If you are interested in joining the School Governing Body and becoming actively involved in developing the school then please apply. Further information was included in a letter earlier this week.
Mental Health Awareness Day
Staff wore green to support this today. Students received sessions discussing how we can cope with anxiety, reduce stress and promoting wellbeing. The health and wellbeing of our students is of paramount importance to us at school and as well as our Pastoral Team, we work with a range of agencies to support students. If you think this is something your child may need then please contact their Head of Year.

New Build Update
I was fortunate to be taken on a tour of the new site today. There has been significant progress in the last few days as I hope you will see from the pictures below. If you are interested in coming in for a viewing and to meet the Construction Team then there are a few places available on May 31 at 10am. This is during half term week.

Have a pleasant weekend everyone.
Yours faithfully
Paul Smith
Headteacher
