Parent Bulletin No.18
Annwyl Parent / Carer
You may be aware that there has been a small number of anti-social behaviour incidents in our community of late and it saddens me to say that a small number of our students have been involved. We have always prided ourselves at Argoed on the positive conduct of our students and the positive role they play in the community. The vast majority continue to be excellent role models for their families, and for us. However, a small minority are not behaving in a way that represents the Argoed values and ethos. Rest assured that myself and all our staff are doing all we can to correct this behaviour, including working with their families and liaising with the police and external agencies.
PSE Day on Health and Wellbeing Thursday February 9
Students will be involved in a range of activities this Thursday as part of their PSE curriculum promoting the importance of being healthy. Some of the sessions will be active in nature and therefore students should come to school in appropriate active wear rather than their uniform for the day. This could be their school PE kit or some sensible bright sportswear, including trainers for footwear.
Tupperware / Plastic Container Request
The Cookery department would be grateful for any empty chocolate tubs, with lids. These come in very useful for pupils to use to transport cooking home.
