Humanities
The Humanities area in Argoed High School consists of Geography, History, Religion, Values and Ethics, and Equality and Diversity.
Humanities inspires and motivates a sense of wonder in the world in which we thrive. It encourages learners to engage with their local area, promoting a sense of cynefin. We study the most important issues facing humanity, including sustainability and social change, democracy and governance, and religious and humanistic world views. In a digital world, we strive to develop the cross-cutting skills necessary to understand and interpret the past and the present.
We aim to nurture ambitious, enterprising, ethical and informed citizens, with a deep sense of community and belonging.
