Dear Parent/Carer
The end of the school year is approaching fast and this is the penultimate newsletter for this year.
Can I remind parents that school is closed to students this Tuesday (Buckley Jubilee) and term ends for the summer holidays next Friday, 15th July.
We have held our celebration assemblies this week and it has been very pleasing to see how many merits and certificates of achievement students have gained. To name them all would fill this entire letter and more. I would like to congratulate the following students though for gaining the Headteacher’s or Governors’ Award:

Expressive Arts Concert
We look forward to welcoming parents for our first performance in a long time, this Monday. It will also be a chance to celebrate those students who have made significant contribution to Art, Drama and Music this year .Refreshments will be served in the Dining Room upon arrival and the concert will run from 6:30 – 8:30pm. For any parents unable to attend we will be live streaming the evening via Microsoft Teams. Unwanted Uniform
If anyone has any uniform that they no longer need then we would appreciate it being donated to school. If you wish to do this then please drop it off at reception next week.
Free School Meals during the exam period and summer holidays for school leavers
Any Year 11 student who is entitled to a free school meal can still receive one while the exams are on. From June 24 – July 20 Flintshire will make a one off payment to entitled families. Payments will also continue during the school holidays.
